Some pictures I took this past Sunday at the Rose Cup races at Portland International Raceway. Sadly due to the rain, the GASS stock cars did not race as they did not have rain tires. The rain let up just in time to start the main event which had a small field but gave plenty of entertainment watching drivers struggle to put down the power on the wet track.

Race organizers had to give him a weight penalty and smaller engine restrictor for other cars to have a fair fight hehe

GASS Stock cars cannot into rain. I was a bit surprised at their lack of rain tires considering the series is based here in Portland. Were you there just for Sunday's races or were you able to catch the races on Fri or Sat?
